Omg... I was this winter. The roads were very icy. I was in Sanborn turning from the highway to main street. I was going slow. I was being safe. But when I turned by wheel my car didn't. I state, once again, that I was driving slow and being cautious yet my car STILL slid.

Thing is, on the corner of main street and the highway is a Dyno's gas station.

And I was headed right for it.

So I gave up on trying to turn the car and turned back the wheel to where the car was heading. Once I rammed over the curb onto non-icy concrete a miracle happened.

I went BETWEEN the two gas pumps and slammed the breaks in time to stop me from running into the wall of the store.

I backed up a little. (STILL BETWEEN the two gas pumps, mind you.) Cranked the wheel to the left. Went forward. Backed up again a little. Then got out of there without a scratch!!

Oh and the people on the highway slowed down for me to slid out of control.

No flames please, but constructive criticism is welcomed.

Once there was a town called Troy. Population: twenty. Number of teenagers? Three. And they were all girls. They were also the three closest friends in the world.

Ka-Chan, the oldest at age 17, was the most mature of the group. The 'mother', if you will. She always took care of Bonna and Jade, and she was always there to help. Bonna, a year younger, was the sarcastic one. She was a talented writer, as well as Ka-Chan, and great at drawing. Jade, same age as Bonna, was... Well, the childish one of the trio. She loved food, playing around, and thinking up stories. She was really creative and hyperactive!

In a freaking small town like Troy, what were they to do? One word: Anime. OK, well, two works: Anime and Manga. Wait... That's three words! Aw, who cares? Anyway, the point is, they love it. They eat, breathe, and sleep anime. There favorite animes are Naruto, Prince of Tennis, and Ruroni Kenshin. There are countless of others, but we won't waste time telling you them.

At school they are, well, not outcasts... Just, um, a 'side' group. They're different, no denying that, but not creepy or strange. To the exception of Jade, of course.

"AHHHHH!!!!! POCKYYYYY!!!!" screamed Jade as she skated down the hall (at break-neck speed) on her new Ripstick with chocolate all over her face. Students scrambled into the hallways to see her retreating figure barely miss the vending machines.

"There goes Jade. I think she ate that chocolate stuff again..."
"You mean that Japanese candy?? Tch. She and her friends are weird."
"Yeah, and they read comics like little kids!"
Conversations like that were heard in the halls of their high school everyday. But the three friends didn't care. They had each other and that was enough.

"WHOOO HOO!!!! I DID IT!! I PASSED MY FINAL!! GOOD-BYE GEOMETRY!!!" Her cries (and the cries of the principal) echoed through the gym and throughout the rest of the school. Bonna and Ka-Chan, in different classrooms, both thought (relatively) the same thing.
"Jade cheated...again." Bonna stated.
"Well, I guess third times the charm." Ka-Chan nervously chuckled to herself, hoping Jade didn't cheat.

"It's finally SUMMER!!!!" yelled Jade while doing a 360 degree jump on her Ripstick. This time in the parking lot with Bonna and Ka-Chan heading to Ka=Chan's car. They carpool since they live in the same town.
"So, you finally passed Geometry." Bonna said almost mono-tone.
"Yeah! Isn't it great? No summer school, Nya!!" Jade replied, Eiji-like.
"Congratulations, Jade! I'm so proud of you!" Ka-Chan side-hugged her, Jades arms flails to try to regain her balance.
"So how did you cheat this time?" Bonna asked getting straight to the point. And into the car.
Jade was flabbergasted. "I didn't cheat!"
"Suuuure you didn't. Because you never cheated before."
"Ka-Chan! Tell Bonna I didn't cheat! You believe me. Don't you?"
"Well..." She paused.
"You don't believe me...." Jade stopped and stood rooted to the spot. "Well, that's good because I need help washing the answers off my arm!" Jade smiled cheekily while pushing up her sleeves.
"Jade Steels Lawless!!"
"What?? I don't want to go to Su-.. Su-...Su-"
"-MmerSchool." Bonna filled in.
"Yeah. That." Jade was looking very worried but smiled again. "Because we have Anime Avenue!!" She yelled energetically.

Let me fill you in. Anime Avenue is basically a street with nothing around it. Nothing. No houses, no buildings, nada. But there was a pole for a road sign... but no sign. Anyway, even the ancient hags of Troy didn't even know why the Avenue is there. It doesn't go anywhere, just to an open field. That field is where Jade, Bonna, and Ka-Chan go to read and trade manga books. Bonna sometimes brings her cordless DVD player and they watch anime.

Ka-Chan just remembered something. "Oh yeah!! Guess what? I got a road sign for Anime Avenue!!"
Both Bonna and Jade stopped short, turned around and yelled, "SHUT UP!!! Are you serious? No way!!"
"Yeah! I ordered the sign off the Internet and it should be in the mail today. You're going to love it!"
"Well, floor it, woman!! Let's go!" Bonna yelled as she pulled Jade and Ka-Chan into the car. And off they drove, anxious to get home.

END OF PART ONE

I don't have time for this!!! I have so many friggin things to do but I have to keep putting them off because of family or homework or the fact that it gets to be past midnight when I finish my homework!!!!

I have my stories/fanfics and poems to write. Pictures to draw. Random, BUT important stuff to do. I have to watch my anime and read my manga. I have blogs that I have to update. I have forums that I have to post and RP in. Etc Etc Etc.

And then there is school!! ARUG!!! I hate it!! Except that I get to see my friends but still!! Do they REALLY have to give us THAT MUCH homework??GOSH!!

And on top of all that, theres this 'Inner Turmoil' I'm dealing with. On side is Super Optimistic and the other side is Sadistically Pessimistic. S.O. is saying: One day my dreams will come true!! I can do anything!! And S.P. is saying: God! I'm such a fuckin LOSER!! Like Hell it'll come true. I'm wasting my time hoping. You'll never amount to anything in life, you have no money!! Then S.O.'s like: I'll just keep wishing on that shooting star!! I'll never stop dreaming!! S.P.'s all: Buts there just dreams. They'll never happen. I need money to make the world go round and I got zip!!!

ARGH!! Its so smeggin confusing. Do I keep dreaming and hoping and wishing that I can make my goals become reality??? Or am I wasting my time trying to get something I'll never achieve?? T

he way to become who I want to be is practically impossible to achieve. That's what makes it so frustrating!!!

This is a story written between me, Sophitia, and Klp_girl! This is just the rough draft of part one and it is being edited/ok-ed by Klp and Soph. 1/3rd of part two is done but we won't post it unless you comment!!!

Warning: This is a Crack Fic. It's just for fun. No flames, please, but constructive criticism is welcomed.

On a Saturday evening three girls named Jade, Ka-Chan, and Sophitia were hanging in their bedroom fan-girling about their favorite anime/manga…

Prince of Tennis.

"In Prince of Tennis, don't you think Tezuka says 'Hai' like 'Ay'?" said the oldest sister.

"Well, I don't think the Japanese think there is a difference." Said Ka-Chan, the second oldest.

"Who cares? Their all hot anyway!" Jade said. The youngest of the three.

"When did you like Tezuka? He's mine!" exclaimed Sophitia with a glare to kill.

"Hey, hey!" Jade backed away. "I just said he was hot. They all are. Besides," shrugged Jade with a sly grin. "I got Inui and Kaido and Taka-kun!"

"Why do you get three when I only get Oishi and Eiji?" yelled Ka-Chan. She really loved the Golden Pair.

"Yeah!" sided Sophitia. "And I only get Tezuka and Fuji!"

"Fine! We'll write down their names, take the ones we like and sign so we can't fight again." decided Jade as she shuffled around for a piece of paper and pen. So all the sisters gather around and marked their favorite guys and signed it. As the three girls finish signing a bright light appeared blinding the sisters. And "POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP POP!" All nine members of Seigaku popped in the sister's bedroom floor.

The three girls sat in dazed wonderment as the nine regulars awoke from unconsciousness. The three sisters each gave out a fan girl squee. While jumping up and down and hugging, a thought occurs to Ka-Chan and Sophitia.

The elder two share a knowing look. The same thought runs through each of their heads. "In about 2 seconds Jade's going to start grabbing guys. I need to same mine!" exclaimed Ka-Chan.

Sophitia grabs Tezuka, Fuji, and Momo-Chan, and heads for the stairs.

Ka-Chan grabs the Golden Pair and Ryoma. Feeling a strong need to rescue the youngest of the group.

Jade is left in the girls bedroom as she realizes her sister have left with 2/3rds of the regulars. (She does not realize that 2/3rds are gone, just the majority. She sucks ar Math.)

She comes to her senses and runs to the door, slams it shut and locks it. She turns around and gives Inui, Kaido, and Taka-Kun an evil grin as they slowly wake up. Inui looks around and opens his notebook and starts scribbling away not even bothering to get up. Kaido sits up and lets out a hiss and Taka-Kun is still [luckily] a bit swirly. Sensing Jade's presence, Inui looks up from his notebook to see her reading over his shoulder. He closes the notebook with a slam and asks, "Where are we?"

Not knowing herself (and not caring) she answers: "Does it really matter?" She giggled as she glomped him. She couldn't believe they were here! She was just holding herself back from doing crazy things to them. Inui opens his notebook and pushes up his glasses. Kaido blushes at the sight before him and Jade notices.

"Kya! Your blushing, Kaido! Your so kawaii!" Jade then let's go of Inui to glomp Kaido, her fangirlness returning full-strength once more. Blushing furiously and hissing, Kaido flails his arms uselessly as he tries to get away. Taka, then finally wakes from his slumber.

"Um… Sorry, but who are you? And why are you hugging Kaido?" she lets go of Kaido.

"Oh! My name's Jade! And, um, you're cute and all but you're no fun shy. We need… A RACKET!" Jade yells in a commanding voice and out of nowhere comes a tennis racket.

"How did you do that?" said a shocked Inui.

The surprised Jade shrugges it off and says plainly, "I was a fan girl in need." She hands Taka the racket. [Hint: Fan girl Magic!]

Before the girl's bedroom is thrown into chaos by a 'burning' Taka-San, let's back up and join Sophitia as she flees the room.

As the four careen around the corner and start down the stairs, Fuji asks with a serene smile on his face, "Tezuka, where do you think she's taking us?"

Tezuka, shaking off his unconsciousness, replies (while dragging a half-dead Momo), "Downstairs."

Upon reaching the bottom of the stairs, Sophitia seems indecisive. Fuji becomes impaitent and begins leading the other three to the parent's bedroom.

"Huh? What are…?" Sophitia asks, confused.

"I think Momo needs to lie down," Fuji replies.

"Oh, alright," she follows. As the four turn the corner, another group of people comes into view.

Now for Ka-Chan's Point-of-View...

Ka-Chan meanwhile is still at the top of the stairs. A bratty/asleep Ryoma has grabbed onto the railing. Ka-Chan is getting more and more flustered by the minute. Turning to Oishi, Ka-Chan exclaims "If you value your virginity, grab Eiji and follow me."

Using the adrenaline pounding through her veins, Ka-Chan throws Ryoma over her shoulder and leads a bewildered/terrified Oishi down the stairs.

Following a muttering Ka-Chan, the three regulars go to the farthest corner of the house.

Eiji turns to his doubles partner and asks, "What does she mean 'not far enough'?"

"Mada mada dane." Came out Ryoma's catch phrase.

"You say that now Ryoma, but you haven't met my sister. I'm saving you!" Ka-Chan turns on Ryoma.

"Perhaps you could explain what is going on, Miss." says Oishi.

"Call me Ka-Chan. To answer you question: I'm keeping my little sister from doing unspeakable things to you. I would go into greater detail but I believe there are virgin ears present."

Reactions to that statement:

            Eiji – Confused look.

            Oishi – Blushes furiously.

Ryoma – Takes a sip of Ponta.

(Where that came from I don't know, maybe he has the same power as Jade?)

At the other end of the house, Sophitia has a dilemma. Involving a certain sadistic prodigy.

"So, what you're saying is that the others are in a lot of trouble at the moment?" Fuji questions. Unsuccessfully trying to repress a sadistic grin.

"You have no idea." She said without meeting his eyes, slightly blushing.

Fuji immediately whips out his camera from nowhere (More magic?) and makes for the stairs.

An appalled Sophitia looks frantically from the open door to Tezuka and back again, "STOP HIM!!"

Tezuka pauses for a moment then says, "Fuji. Fifty laps."

"As soon as I fill up this film, Tezuka."

Little did Tezuka know that it was a digital camera…

END OF PART ONE

The Most Foolish Traveler in the World

This summer I found this story in a book I was reading. I thought it was really good, so I wanted to share this with my family. So last night at dinner, I told them the story of The Most Foolish Traveler in the World.

Once upon a time a very foolish traveler was on a journey. He was stupid. Why was he stupid? He was fooled by everyone he met. The townspeople took advantage of him. Everywhere he went people made up all kinds of sad stories to tell him. And the traveler fell for every single one of them.
"Please, some money for medicine…?"
"I have a sick younger sister…"
"I don’t have money to buy seeds to plant in my fields."
Pretty soon on that journey, he was tricked into giving away all his money, clothes, and even his shoes were cheated away from him. But the foolish traveler was always glad to help. So when the townspeople lied to him saying, "This will really help us." Tears would stream down his face and he would always say the same thing: "I wish you happiness."

When he gave away his last belonging, he was naked with nothing else to cover himself with and ashamed to be seen. So he decided to go off the main road and travel in the dense forest. Where no one could see him. Then he was soon discovered and met the monsters who lived in the forest. They wanted to eat him, so they begged and pleaded and tricked him with clever and nice words. Of course, the traveler was fooled and when the monsters asked, he gave up one of his legs. Then an arm. And more and more.

Before it was over, the traveler was nothing but a head. He even gave his eyes to the last monster he met. As the last monster was munching on his eyes, he turned and said: "Thank you, traveler. In return, I'll give you this present." and left him. But that was a lie too.

His gift was a single piece of paper that had "fool" written on it. But the traveler couldn't see it. He didn't even know what it was. Even so, he cried and cried, saying: "Thank you. Thank you. This is the first time anyone's given me anything. I'm so happy. Thank you. Thank you." And even without eyes, great tears of joy kept flowing from his face.....

......Then the traveler died. The smile still on his face.

The end.

Everyone laughed. And my family started making fun of the traveler. While they laughed, I closed my eyes and thought about the traveler. I thought about how the traveler who gave everything away until he became nothing but a crying head. And how at the end, he still cried for joy saying, "Thank you. Thank you." And I realized how sorry I was for him. And I thought how lucky he was. See?

Loss...suffering...hardship....Things like that?

You can't always focus on them. It's pointless to think about them.

The traveler didn't. He never thought about his troubles at all.

That might be stupid to some people, but it's not stupid to me. I don't think he's foolish at all. Even though others think he was being tricked, I don't think he was. I think he did exactly what he wanted to do. I think, more than anything, that he wanted to make other people happy. I won't trick anyone, even if other people think that person deserves it. I just want to make them happy.

Do you really think that's stupid?

When you close your eyes....what do you think?
